Aquino asked to reveal members of search committee

MANILA, Philippines – To avoid any suspicion, President apparent Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III must reveal to the public the members of his search committee that will screen applicants for any post under his administration, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero said on Tuesday.

Escudero feared that there might be members of the search committee who were also jockeying for government posts.
“Sino yung search committee para malaman natin at yung proseso din marahil nang pagpili upang sa gayon sa simula pa lamang ng administrasyon hindi pagduduhan at suspetsahan ang kahihinatnan [Who are the members of the search committee so that we may know the process by which the selection will be made. This is to avoid doubts against the administration and suspicion as to the outcome],” Escudero said at a press conference in Quezon City.
